WHO WE ARE
Mr. Harivadan T. Shah started his Practice in the year 1962 in the field of civil and revenue with high ethical standards and a fair approach towards clients.
Mr. Harivadan T. Shah started his practice under the leadership of the then stalwarts of law Mr. Jasubhai Clerk and Mr. Nasarvanji K. Vakil. Mr. Nasarvanji K. Vakil thereafter adorned the Bench of Gujarat High Court.
The son of Harivadan T. Shah viz. Mr. Achal Shah joined the practice in the year 1982 and followed the tradition of his father and practiced with fairness and earned a high reputation in the field of Advocacy in Surat City. Unfortunately, he expired in the year 2012. However, till then, he had developed his practice in the fields of Civil, Revenue, Charity, Medico-Legal Cases before Consumer Courts. He was also engaged in the work of documentation including registration of sale deeds, wills, agreements, etc.
He had also extensive practice in Land Acquisition Matters and matters relating to intellectual property rights. He was also empanelled as advocate on behalf of GEB, PPS Scheme, NTPC, Reliance, etc. He had also worked with various law firms from all over India.
Mrs. Nita Achal Shah, the Wife of Mr. Achal Shah started her practice with Mr. Achal Shah and handling all types of cases.
Continuing the legacy of Mr. Harivadan Shah, his grandson Mr. Manan Achal Shah started his practice in 2006 before the Hon’ble Gujarat High Court. He has worked with Mrs. Ketty A. Mehta and Arun H. Mehta, two of the Most Renowned who had extensive practice in all fields before the Hon’ble High Court of Gujarat and Hon’ble The Supreme Court of India.
He having specialized in Constitutional, Civil, Criminal, Revenue, Family, Consumer, SARFAESImatters, Town Planning matters, Municipal Corporation Law, etc. He has also extensive practice under the Companies Law, Arbitration Law, Family Law, Intellectual Property Law, Labour Law, Service Law, etc. He is also standing counsel for the Bar Council of India.
Mrs. Nidhi Shah, who is the wife of Mr. Manan Shah is also a Law Graduate and is practicing as an advocate in Consumer Courts, Family Courts and engaged in the documentation of various assignments.
Mr. Manan Shah constituted a Law Firm in the name of Shah Advocates in the year 2012, which later on was renamed as Achal Advocates in the fond memory of his Father.
The entire family is engaged in the Law Practice almost since 6 decades. We have vast experience in every field of Law.
